Bulletin of the Comediantes

Home

The Bulletin of the Comediantes publishes scholarship focused on the theater that thrived in every corner of the early modern world where Spanish was spoken, read, taught, or translated. As a journal published two times per year, we reach forty-three countries across six continents, with articles and book reviews in English and Spanish, distributed both in print and online through Project Muse.

Please visit our website to subscribe, meet our latest authors, learn about our editorial team, and link to over seven decades of back issues on Project Muse. You can find us at the Comediantes website.

Articles submitted should not be under consideration for publication or in the editorial pipeline with another journal, book publisher, or on the Internet. We accept submissions year-round, though we ask authors to allow extra time for responses from us in the case of articles submitted during the summer vacation period (July 15–August 31) or end-of-year holiday season (December 20–January 6).
